The kit includes: 10 chef knives (15 cm. blades) ; 10 paring knives (8 cm. blade) ; 1 tabletop knife sharpener ; 2 pairs of cut-resistant (Ubei level 5) gloves (medium and large sizes).
Knives are handwash only. Each knife will have a protective paper sleeve. Contact libprograms@halifaxlibrary.ca if sleeves are missing. The gloves can be washed in mild detergent and hung to dry after use.
This kit can be used for group cooking programs so multiple participants can prepare food.
