Summary:
After being brought to life from words, the fire-eater Dustfinger decides to leave his young apprentice Farid behind and return to the book, Inkheart. Farid, in turn, sets out to find Meggie and the two of them become caught inside the book. They ultimately meet Fenoglio, the book's author, and Farid, Meggie, and Fenoglio try to fix the story as the tale is changing in an unimaginable way.
