Summary:
"Dioramas come in all shapes and sizes, but unique to the modeling genre are dioramas featuring varying scale figures, vehicles, and scenery. This book will show you how to create realistic depth-of-field dioramas via seven step-by-step projects, each depicting important moments in history, from World War II's Battle of the Bulge to the American Revolution, and all the way back to the Middle Ages and even Roman times. In more than 100 pages you'll find 300+ color photos showing how to combine up to three scales in a diorama using various modeling techniques. This how-to book discusses painting, reconfiguring figures' poses, scenic effects, making ships, boats, structures, stone streets, muddy roads, snow, rivers, and oceans -- everything you need to know to create stunning realistic dioramas."--Back cover.
