Description:
[6] p. : ill. ; 28 cm.
Summary:
What has become known to most generations of Halifax residents and visitors at the "Round Church" had its origins with the congregation of the Little Dutch Church on Brunswick Steet which had served the German Lutheran population since 1756, but was too small to provide reasonable facilities. St. George's Church, when erected in 1800, was built at the behest of and according to plans devised by H.R.H. Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, son of George III and father of Queen Victoria.
