    Summary:
During the summer of 2008, 27 young Atlantic Canadians and 9 facilitators created a video project in the rural community of East Preston, Nova Scotia. They set out with the mission to explore the idea and practice of democracy - especially how it relates to the East Preston community, which is part of the largest indigenous African Canadian community in all of Canada! As Canada celebrates 250 years of democracy, these young people created an engaging look into how the campaign of now-elected President Barack Obama would change their own lives and their feelings on voting. This is a not to be missed look at how young Canadians see the election of Barack Obama as a catalyst for positive change in their own lives.
