    Summary:
In the 17th century the little Caribbean Islands Anguilla, Nevis and St. Christopher (St. Kitts) were chosen by England for the first experiment in the design for sugar and cotton plantations for profitable trade. England needed workers. They brought slaves from Ghana. It was a dangerous time in history especially for slaves. The enslaved Ghanaian mothers created new villages on the islands plantations to keep their families safe. Their methods were unique.
