    Summary:
Given that the Bedford mansion constructed by Colonel Joseph Scott has been standing for nearly two and a half centuries, the property has had surprisingly few owners. No tenure was longer than that of the Ternan family. Dr. John Ternan, Fleet Surgeon of the Royal Navy, retired to Canada, married and raised his family of nine children at the Manor House. Author W. Terrence (Terry) Gordon is Professor Emeritus at Dalhousie University, where he taught for 30 years. He brings the Ternan family to the stage in this historical drama.
