    Summary:
Twelve-year-old Bicycle's trusty bike Fortune takes them to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, where she reunites with her long-lost family and hatches a plan to share her love of cycling with her new sisters.
Something isn't right with Bicycle's bicycle. The Wheels of Fortune 713-J was designed to feed, shelter, guide, entertain, and protect its rider. Now it's giving wrong directions and blaring music uncontrollably, and no one, including the Fortune, can explain why. Bicycle and her guardian Sister Wanda set off on their bikes to see if they can piece together clues from the Fortune's odd behaviour and figure out what's going on. They aren't sure what they're looking for or how far they'll have to go until they discover something they couldn't have imagined: Bicycle's long-lost family. Even more surprising, she is one of five identical quintuplet sisters. Rejoining a family Bicycle doesn't remember turns out be more challenging than any cycling trip she's ever taken. Her parents are overly protective and won't let her ride the Fortune outside, and her sisters don't have bikes, let alone know how to ride them. Then the Fortune receives an SOS from four other Wheels of Fortunes, and Bicycle secretly breaks the rules to rescue its family. With bikes for everyone, the sisters start to have clandestine cycling escapades involving a Frankenstein movie, a haunted cat, a kung fu goose, and what may be too much or just enough apple pie. Bicycle worries she may be turning her family upside-down by staying true to her cycling self. But shared adventures -- big and small -- may be exactly what everyone needs to blaze a new trail together.
