    Summary:
"'Gigs, Hustles & Temps' explains why precarious work contributes to rampant inequality, increased insecurity, and the crisis of public and mental health by offering a comprehensive, accessible, and informative account of what precarious work is, how it developed throughout the history of the 20th century, and who exactly precarious workers are in the early 21st. It assesses the negative societal impacts of precarious work, who wants to make work even more precarious, and how that state of affairs may change over time."--From publisher.
