    Summary:
14-year-old Sam(antha) Stellar and her cousin Paige are taking part in the Summer Studies and Work Experience Program by working at the Tyrell Dinosaur Museum in Drumheller. They are staying at a boarding house with a number of adults, and Paige works in the computer department at the Museum, while Sam is assigned to the specimen floor, creating and preparing fossils that come in to the Tyrell. Sam is a wannabe detective or "spy" who has studied her profession extensively online. She deduces that there's a potential Dino bone theft looming at the Tyrell. Sure enough, a piece goes missing. Sam assigns herself the case. She has a few suspects and does what she can to get more information and challenge the potential perps. Dragging Paige along as her unwilling accomplice. The fact that Sam suspects a young hunk of a paleontologist that Paige is soon panting over causes friction between the cousins.
