    Summary:
"Prudence Emery, born in Nanaimo, B.C., went on to live a life surrounded by some of the most famous celebrities in the world. She was press and public relations officer for the Savoy Hotel in London, UK, where celebrities from the world of film, music, politics, and sports were guests, and in many cases social acquaintances. But the bulk of her career was spent as a film publicist, working on films throughout the world and getting to know the biggest names in Hollywood. Along the way, she spent time working publicity for Global Television, the Metropolitan Toronto Zoo, and others. This memoir covers her entire life (so far) from childhood in the 1930s and 40s through her various careers to her retirement years, back in British Columbia, where she has found time to make short films of her own." --From publisher.
