Fasting (except for Bulletproof coffee) between 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. will aid weight loss. You will skip breakfast, stop counting calories, eat high levels of healthy saturated fat, work out and sleep less, and add smart supplements. You eat 50 to 70 percent of your daily calories from good fat. High-quality protein and vegetables fill out most of the rest. It is a low-carbohydrate diet. Daily calories from sweets and starches are limited to five percent of total caloric intake. On the diet, you'll gain energy, build lean muscle, and watch the pounds melt off. By ditching traditional "diet" thinking, the author went from being overweight and sick in his twenties to maintaining a 100-pound weight loss, increasing his IQ, and feeling better than ever in his forties.
