Summary:
English singer and songwriter Tracey Thorn was only 16 when she bought an electric guitar and joined a band. In 1981, she met Ben Watt at the University of Hull, where they were both students, forming the duo Everything But the Girl. Thorn was lead singer and occasional guitarist, and Ben Watt was guitarist, keyboardist and singer. The duo's most successful single was a Todd Terry remix of "Missing" released in 1995. This is the funny, perceptive and candid story of Tracey's 30-year pop career.
