Jagoda is a checkout girl who is frustrated with love. When a more aggressive co-worker steals a potential date, Jagoda refuses to sell an elderly woman strawberries for the grandson's birthday cake and throws her out of the market. When the grandson, a war veteran, finds out about the insult, he enters the store armed to the teeth, seeking revenge on her behalf. Plans quickly go awry and the S.W.A.T. team is called in. Crowds gather outside to support the gunman.
