Fischer
's words in the previous edition have been omitted in this version, so only the author's own words are expressed, giving a true insight into one of the most gifted, troubled, and controversial minds of the 20th century. Bobby
Fischer
was an American chess grandmaster and the eleventh World Chess Champion. Many consider him to be the greatest chess player of all time. In 1972, he captured the World Chess Championship from Boris Spassky of the USSR in a match held in Reykjavík, Iceland.
