Four programs on the techniques of canoeing. Solo basic demonstrates basic strokes for controlling the canoe, with animated lines showing motion of the paddle. Solo whitewater explains how to locate a deep-water channel, and tells how to guide the canoe through rapids and how to survive a wipe-out. Doubles basic shows how to apply basic paddling strokes in a variety of combinations. Doubles whitewater shows how to run rapids by reading the rapids, planning a course, and controlling the canoe with all the basic paddling strokes.
