    Summary:
In 1946 Roy and Lois Harnish built the Shore Club, a landmark dancehall and venue for lobster dinners. Located in the small ocean side community of Hubbards, Nova Scotia, the Shore Club developed an allure that would become a fond memory for people near and far. Dancehall Daughter is a celebration of 70 years of Shore Club history and memories recalled by Susan Harnish, daughter of Roy and Lois Harnish. In her memoir, Susan reveals the background story of the birth and continuing evolution of the Shore Club. Also, several favourite recipes are here, including Orange Raisin Cupcakes, Hodge Podge and Date Squares. Hubbards is located along the northern shore of St. Margaret's Bay. It sits astride the county line bordering Halifax County and Lunenburg County.
