아이들이 성장하면서 어른이 되어 간다는 의미는 단지 키나 몸이 자라는 것만은 아니다. 자신과 사회에 대해 스스로 책임을 질 줄도 알아야 하며, 보이지 않는 마음의 키도 그만큼 자라야 한다. 그러므로 아이들은 나름대로 여러 힘든 과정을 겪어야만 제대로 된 어른으로 성장할 수 있다. 《보보의 모험》의 주인공은 몸 색깔이 하얀 비둘기이다. 우리는 비둘기 보보를 통해 더욱더 소중하게 성장의 의미를 되새길 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 우리는 장애의 몸에도 불구하고 남을 먼저 생각하는 어른으로 성장한 보보를 통해, ‘함께 할수록 행복해지는 사회의 아름다움’이란 진리를 가슴 뭉클하게 느낄 수 있다. 여기에 등장 인물과 배경을 탁월한 감각으로 그려 낸 이형진의 그림은 한껏 이야기의 재미와 감동을 더해 주기에 충분하다. 아이들에게 ‘나는 장차 어떤 어른이 되어 있을까?’ 혹은 ‘어떤 어른이 되어야 할까?’를 곰곰이 생각하게 하는 작품이다.

As children grow up, becoming adults does not just grow in height or body. You must know that you are responsible for yourself and society, and the height of your invisible heart must grow. Therefore, children have to undergo various difficult processes in order to grow into a proper adult. The protagonist of "Adventure of Bobo" is a white dove with a body color. We can recall the meaning of growth more and more importantly through the doveboobo. In addition, we can feel the truth of the beauty of society that 'happiness becomes happier together', through the growth of BOBO who grows up as an adult who thinks first of all despite his body of disability. Lee Hyung-jin's painting, which depicts characters and backgrounds in an excellent sense, is enough to add to the fun and excitement of the story. I asked the children, "What kind of adults will I be in the future?" Or "What kind of adult should I be?"
