Joshua Eli Plaut is an ordained rabbi, holds a Ph.D. in Hebrew and Judaic Studies. [!ndigo's website] He is the author of 'Greek Jewry in the Twentieth Century,' and has documented the Jewish life and popular culture through the combined lenses of a historian and folklorist, photo-ethnographer and rabbi. He resides with his wife and son in New York City and Martha's Vineyard. He is the executive director of a nonprofit organization in New York City.
